From The Director's Desk...
Before I made you in your mother's womb, I chose you.
Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work, says the Lord.
~Jeremiah 1:5
It is my belief that children are a gift from God and should be treated with respect and dignity.
This is modeled in the classroom by my behavior and each child is expected to do likewise.
We have regard for the feelings of others.
This is a Christian preschool. We pray and hear a Bible story every day.
Acceptable conduct is expected from everyone. I want each child to acquire poise, grace and beautiful manners.
Although the program allows the children freedom to choose work, we follow a schedule every day, as routine is security for children. In the mornings, we do our work, eat a snack, have circle time and recess. After lunch, we brush our teeth, nap, finish our school work and play outside.
I am an MWEI certified Montessori teacher holding a baccalaureate in Fine Art and English.
I am a certified Spalding teacher and reading is my area of expertise.
I want each child to be a strong reader and speller by completion of kindergarten.
It is my sincere desire to make an investment in each child's life.
